This day could not have turned out any better! Katie and Justin are expecting their first baby ((gender to be a surprise)) and I could not be any happier for these two. Katie and I go back a few years now - back to my early athletic training days. She and I have become really great friends over the years and I feel so blessed to have her in my life! It was just 2 years ago that I was a witness to the marriage of Katie and Justin. This next step in their lives is going to be absolutely amazing. I'm so sure that both of these two will make great parents. Katie and I had been planning this maternity session for a few weeks. We had our fingers crossed that we wouldn't get snowed in and have to actually use the back-up date... not that it would really matter, but over the last week we had been talking about crazy schedules. Thankfully Mother Nature had other plans and gave us a BEAUTIFUL 60 degrees and SUNNY day. Now, I have to tell you that I have secretly been wanting to do a snowy maternity session, and the weather was not quite working in my favor. When we started out on our little adventure of a session, we walked up to the rails to trail and low and behold we ended up finding a big patch of snow to use! I was stoked! These two were troopers and were all about getting their shoes in the snow. I'm so glad it worked out that this winter pregnancy got to see some snowy maternity pictures! Ok, ok, enough about the weather... let's get to the actual PHOTOS! Here are a few of my favorites from their session!
